Throwback Thursday: Murder investigation continues, bomb threat and a raise for teachers

October 7, 1998

The Covington City School system raised the pay of its teachers so that it was the same as the county teachers.

October 1, 2003

The Covington Police Department was still looking for a suspect in the murder of Jean Hall, who was killed nearly three months previously.

October 3, 2008

The Covington Police Department investigated a bomb threat that was made over the phone to Covington High School.

October 3, 2013

The Brighton High football team traveled to Columbia, Tenn. and beat Columbia Central, the state runnerup the previous season, 35-0.
