Senator Rose to host tele-town hall event Tuesday, April 28

By Echo Day on April 26, 2020

Senator Paul Rose

State Senator Paul Rose (R-Covington) will hold a telephone town hall on Tuesday, April 28 to provide an update and answer questions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and getting Tennesseans back to work.

Rose will have an expert on the line from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development to answer callers’ questions about unemployment benefits, experts to answer questions about small businesses and a medical and infectious disease expert to answer health-related COVID-19 questions.

“Along with our heroic health care providers, our federal, state and local officials are working tirelessly to combat this pandemic and protect the lives and livelihoods of Tennesseans,” said Rose.  “I know there are a lot of questions among the public regarding the virus and opening up the economy, especially with new information coming out every day from all three levels of government.  This makes it very difficult to keep up with the latest developments. I want to make sure everyone has the information they need to stay safe, as well understands what state resources are available for those who are suffering from its economic impact.”

The tele-town hall will take place at 4:30 p.m.  Citizens can join by calling 877-353-4701 at the start of the call, signing up online to join the call at https://tthm.wufoo.com/forms/senator-paul-rose-teletownhall-sign-up/ or emailing Sen. Rose’s office to receive information on how to sign up (send an email to sen.paul.rose@capitol.tn.gov).
