Munford is having its Celebrate Independence event again this year, but the location has changed.

The event, which is July 4 at 7:30 p.m., will be held at Poplar Park, located across the street from City Park, which has hosted the event the last few years.

The fireworks show begins at approximately 8:45 p.m.  Munford High School Band Boosters will sell refreshments and the Celebrate Munford Committee will sell T-shirts and glow items. Admission to the event is free.

US 51 Country will supply music for the event.

Event-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.  Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

For additional information regarding the event, please visit www.munford.com or call 901-837-5972
