Last week, the Tipton County Schools re-entry plan was approved and, included in the plan was online registration for the upcoming school year.
Launching Wednesday, online registration will be available for returning students in grades 1-12 through the system’s website, tipton-county.com.
Students who are new to the county, including kindergarteners who did not register in the spring, will register in person at their zoned schools on July 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Any student who’s moved and will be changing schools in the district will need to attend that registration day as well.
The district will provide in-person assistance with online registration on July 28 from 3-7 p.m. at the Board of Education building and July 29 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and July 30 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the students’ zoned school.
Students have the option of attending classes in person or through distance learning.
The online registration period will be open from July 15-31.
