If you saw a bunch of emergency vehicles and a couple of helicopters swarming around Dyersburg State Community College – Jimmy Naifeh Center in Covington this afternoon, it was nothing to worry about.
The college hosted a simulated mass casualty event today at noon. For a couple of hours people with pretend wounds (Nice makeup jobs, by the way!) were wandering around and lying in the grass as local first responders and DSCC nursing students set up a triage and moved patients onto ambulances and helicopters.
