Today, Tipton County’s confirmed cases increased by three to 91, which is close to its average daily increase. Should we continue to increase by 2.4 cases per day, Tipton County could hit the 100-case mark just as the safer at home order expires late next week.
This week’s prison outbreak added at least 28 or 29 cases to Tipton County. The U.S. Marshals, which houses inmates at the West Tennessee Detention Facility in Mason, reported no increase Friday.
Statewide, there were 463 new cases reported in Tennessee today, bringing your total confirmed cases of COVID-19 to 9,189. The Tennessee State Data Center shows record high numbers of new cases three of the last four days.
