Munford Pharmacy has announced it is on lockdown after “possible contact” with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
“For the safety of the general public and to help flatten the curve, it has been recommended by the health department to quarantine the staff of Munford Pharmacy (me included),” said pharmacist Miral Patel.
Patel said he attempted to keep the pharmacy open using alternative models of operation, but the state required a full closure.
The pharmacy, which is located at 99 Doctors Drive, is expected to reopen on March 31.
“I sincerely will miss every one of you and cannot wait to come out of the quarantine,” he said.
Patel left his phone number – 404-429-3537 – for those who have questions about their prescriptions.
