Part of the Paul Wortham, Jr. 271.75 acres being formerly the Clyde Hill Homestead and Dower Tracts in Tipton County, Tennessee, being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a spike in the intersection of the center line of a public gravel road with the centerline of New Bethel Road; thence North 88 degrees 06 minutes West with the centerline of said public gravel road 321.23 feet to a spike, said point being the northeast corner of a 4.30 acre tract and 461.54 feet north of the south line of the Wortham 271.75 acres as measured along the east line of said 4.30 acre tract; thence South 1 degree 54 minutes West with the east line of said 4.30 acre tract 251.54 feet to an iron pin; thence South 88 degrees 06 minutes east 453.23 feet to a point in the centerline of New Bethel Road; thence with the centerline of said road North 19 degrees 41 minutes West 100 feet to a point; thence continuing with said centerline North 29 degrees 05 minutes West 184.94 feet to the beginning.

Being the same property conveyed to Paul H. Byrd and wife, Madeline E. Byrd by warranty deed of record at Book 539, Page 60 in the Register’s Office of Tipton County, Tipton. Said Paul H. Byrd is believed to have died in 2013, leaving Madeline E. Byrd as the surviving tenant by the entirety; said Madeline E. Byrd having conveyed the subject property to Kathryn E. King and husband, Gregory D. King by quit claim deed of record at Book 1687, Pages 376 – 378 in the Register’s Office of Tipton County, Tennessee; and said Madeline E. Byrd is believed to have died in 2018.
