Miss Tipton County, Miss MidSouth chosen

Tipton County’s newest titleholders have been chosen.

The Miss Tipton County Scholarship Pageant was held on Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Tipton Rosemark Academy Performing Arts Center.

Lydia Waldrop was crowned Miss Tipton County 2020. She is the daughter of David and Jody Waldrop.

Autumn Payne was crowned Miss MidSouth 2020. She is the daughter of Jeff and Amy Payne.

Both young ladies received $1,500 scholarships and will compete in the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant in Jackson in June of 2020.

The evening was emceed by Covington Mayor Justin Hanson and chosen by an esteemed panel of judges.
