Covington and Munford track athletes bring home state titles

Dozens of Tipton County student athletes took part in last week's state track meet in Murfreesboro and a handful brought home state titles. A year after taking second place, Munford senior Jace Hodgin won the Class AA decathlon. Hodgin also teamed up with Tyler Williams, Malik Curry and Isaiah Cobbs to win the 4x200 relay. Brighton High anglers to compete for national title

Four Brighton High School sophomores will have a chance to bring a national title back to Tipton County next month. Jaxon Sherfield and Jack Houston Rushing took first place at the Student Angler Federation State Tournament last month on the Tennessee River in Perryville.
