Covington softball team downs South Gibson, advances to state tournament

There were not a lot of people outside of the Covington High School softball program who expected the Lady Chargers to be in the 2025 Class 3A state tournament. Brighton, Munford, TRA pick up wins on opening day

Brighton baseball hosted Tipton-Rosemark Academy on Monday and came away with a 7-4 win to open the season. Garett Glass doubled, singled twice and drove in two runs to lead the offense.
