Spanyada Adams indicted in 2022 murder of Betty Goheen

A Covington man was indicted this week for killing a woman in Covington in 2022. Betty Goheen, of Munford, was found dead at a home on South College Street on April 9, 2022. Boys & Girls Club damaged after driver loses control while doing donuts

The Boys & Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region sustained damaged Saturday after a driver ran into the building. One of the suspects in Friday morning's shooting on Hwy. 51 North has turned himself in, Sheriff Shannon Beasley confirmed on Saturday. The Tipton County Sheriff's Office and Covington Police Department have partnered to solve an overnight business burglary. Covington Police are investigating an overnight shooting that killed a 22-year-old. Officers were dispatched to Bluebird Cove at Loon Lane after gunshots were reported just after midnight Sunday.
