‘Everybody’s going to be proud of them’: Crestview schools demolished, prepare for rebuild

All that remains of Crestview Elementary and Middle schools are piles.  Cinder blocks. Brighton High School student charged with threatening to shoot up the school

A 14-year-old was charged with threatening a mass shooting, Brighton Mayor Stephanie Chapman-Washam said Wednesday. The Brighton High School resource officer became aware of a threat to "shoot up the school" made through Snapchat on Wednesday morning. Combs promises vigilance in wake of multiple bomb threats

Brighton Middle School was evacuated again Wednesday after the school received its second bomb threat of the school year.  Students were returned to the classroom after district officials and law enforcement searched the campus and found no evidence of a bomb. Donors to help fund, construct temporary schools for displaced Crestview students and faculty
