Covington girls’ and boys’ basketball teams pick up convincing wins

The Covington Lady Chargers recently swept a four-game home stand with a trip to Gibson County thrown in for good measure to improve to 11-2 (2-0 District 15-AA) on the season. After opening the 2019-20 campaign with a 69-7 drubbing the Trezevant Lady Bears on Nov. 19, the Covington Lady Chargers made it two in a row, defeating the Central Lady Warriors 59-48 in round two of the Hall of Fame on Nov. 23. Covington Lady Chargers demolish Trezevant in season opener
