No hazardous materials aboard train that derailed in Mason Thursday morning

A train through Mason derailed early Thursday morning, the Covington Fire Department has confirmed. The derailment took place near Old L&N Road, between Williamson and Washington, at approximately 3:40 a.m. Covington Fire Chief Richard Griggs said there were nine cars involved.
