Home owner shot, person detained in Charleston home invasion

A person of interest in an early morning home invasion in Charleston is in custody, the Tipton County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday afternoon. A fatal house fire in Drummonds is under investigation. The Tipton County Sheriff's Office and Tipton County Fire Department responded to a house fire on Patricia Lane at approximately 2:25 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2.
