Early voting numbers are in – and they were 30 percent lower than in 2018

Early voting numbers for the county general and state primary elections were 30.1 percent lower than early voting during the same period in 2018. Couple charged with child abuse after drug bust finds their children living in filthy conditions

A recent drug bust had led to child abuse charges for one Tipton County couple. Wyatt Earp’s owner pleaded guilty to tax theft, sentenced to eight years probation

Wyatt Earp's owner Adam Kelley pleaded guilty to theft after more than two years of legal troubles, the Tennessee Department of Revenue announced Tuesday. Mason’s former police chief, officer face second round of indictments

Mason's former police chief and a former police officer were indicted this week in Tipton County for falsifying timesheets and, effectively, committing payroll theft. Vatisha Barken, who led the department for a year, and Samuel Sutton, who worked for her, were charged with official misconduct. Sutton was also charged with theft under $10,000. Former TCSO evidence custodian indicted for selling department-owned vehicle to friend
