State titles are hard to come by

Winning a state title is not easy.

There haven't been very many in Tipton County over the years.

According to TSSAA records, just 11 Tipton County athletes have brought one home in individual sports, plus four teams.

For those of you who have been following the county's high school sports scene for a while, you just might remember all of them.

I thought it would be fun to stroll down memory lane and recognize all the local individuals and teams who have grabbed the ultimate prize in high school athletics.
