It’s the day after Christmas. Is everyone as full of holiday treats as I am? It was a nice day around here, Mr. Miller’s youngest daughter and her college age son (from Virginia Tech) spent the holidays with him. I, as the housekeeper, prepared them a lovely Christmas dinner, which they enjoyed. He’s been under the weather, so seeing his family was a lovely treat for all of them, they even brought along Sarah, the family beagle and a swell dog.
We are still praying for Eugene Baker, Mary Sue Martin, Posey Reed, Connie Brown, Flossie Woods, Jessie Lawson, David Sneed, Rudolph Boykins and family, Rev. Darryl Rozzell and family, Katarene Harber, Ruth Alston, Willie Reed Jr., Joseph Heaston Jr., Clark and Birdie Jones, Carlotta Jones, Eva Heaston, Beaulah Wakefield, Bessie Slayden, Doris King and family, Louise Mason and Clyde Cooke, Marvaline Burton Lee and Mary Ballard and family.
Even though our weather is seemingly better now, please do not forget to still look in on our seniors, especially those living alone.
This is all for now, happy holidays and all of God’s blessings upon every household.
Remember, “The best gift ever given was love, which came to the entire world as a baby in a manger.”
Until next time.
