On Thanksgiving, Josh, Erica and daughter Avery Blyue, and Callie , Brandon and son Emery Blackman visited the home of Troy and Connie Blyue. All had a good time and both of the grandchildren enjoyed visiting their Mimi and Pawpaw.

The Morgan family held its Thanksgiving reunion at Ryan’s in Millington on Nov. 23 and all in attendance had a good time as well.

The students of Tipton county were out for the Thanksgiving week and congratulations to Hunter Chapman on killing an eight point buck and a six point buck. Hunter is a neighbor of mine and he was excited as he showed the pictures to all of his family and friends.

On Saturday, WTCW was at the Garland Community Center and the next show will be Saturday, Dec. 7 with bell time at 7:30 p.m. At the WTCW show, Leather n’ Feathers showed a lot of custom made material made out of leather and it is outstanding. The company is based in Covington and owned by Mark and Natasha Gray.

On the prayer list: Willie Mae Lawson, Lois Smith, Andrea Stafford, Betty Baskin, Carolyn Hanks, Carla Carlson, DeVaughn Jackson, Jeanette Hathcock, Kim Hazelrig, Linda Adams, Dale Boyd, Shannon Morgan and Otis Poole. Also remember Dennis Gholson, Jody Coker, Ian Boswell, Michael Barton, Ryan Hirsch, E. J. Perkins, Seth Kellow, Chance Hall and Michael Watson. To those who serve past or present, thank you. On Saturday, please remember those who lost their lives on the attack of Pearl Harbor. Dec. 7 is also another important date to remember in our nation’s history. Hope all have a safe weekend and enjoy.
