How do you like this cold winter weather? I am still waiting for a good snow. I am looking out the window down to the lake, which has been covered with ice for several days now. I think it is about to thaw today.
One day or so before Christmas, Marshall was in Kroger and saw they had all the poinsettias on sale for one dollar each. So he bought me six of them. They have been so pretty. I gave two away and I still have four in my master bathtub with the rest of my potted plants.
I have three pots of flowers growing in my bath tub. We put in a shower five years ago when we moved here.
I had three potted plants sitting in the bath tub, which were the flowers given to our children when our youngest grandson was killed in a car wreck in Virginia. The flowers have grown and when the children were here a few weeks ago, they asked if they could take one plant home.
Of course, we gave the flower back to them.
