Hello dear readers:
Elm Grove United Methodist Church Rev. Lee Ramsey's father died last week, so they had to make a trip to Georgia. Pastor Ramsey, you and your family have been in our daily prayers. We missed you all last Sunday.
We have been aggravated today. We use the Navy Base in Millington, where we receive our medications for free. My husband had this tube of medicine that heals all kinds of sores. Well, the tube was about empty.
We took it to the base, where they said we would have to get a new prescription. We then went to our doctor and he wrote us another prescription. We took the new prescription to the base today. After standing in line for 30 minutes, they told us to come back tomorrow after 3 p.m. and pick it up. What is going on? There were only two workers in the pharmacy and at one time I counted over 30 sick people in this little waiting room. What a mess.
I guess we should be thankful for our free meds, but it cost us gas money to go to the base three different times for this unimportant med. We are thankful that this was not one of our important meds.
