The Area VIII Special Olympics event is in need of volunteers to serve the 2014 games on Wednesday, April 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. More than 200 volunteers are needed to make this annual event featuring athletes from Tipton, Lauderdale, Crockett and Haywood counties a success.
