Ralphie dreams of getting a Red Ryder BB gun in “A Christmas Story,” a modern Christmas classic. which opens Friday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Ruffin.
The show will run Friday and Saturday night, Dec.13-14, at 7 p.m., Saturday at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and the last production on Friday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. The additional performances have been added due to last week’s inclement weather and the cancellation of opening weekend.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the movie, written by Jean Sheppard. The story focus is on Ralphie, a young boy, who with his friends and family encounters a spirited Christmas season.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students, seniors and military and are available online and at the box office www.ruffintheater.org.
